GYTC8S is an outdoor use optical fiber cable suitable for aerial applications.
Self-supported figure 8 optical cable with fibers placed in jelly filled loose buffer tube stranded around dielectric central member. The cable core is protected with jelly or waterblocking material to prevent water intrusion and migration, protected with a corrugated steel tape armor. All whole unit and galvanized steel messenger are covered with black polyethylene outer jacket.

to
put
250µm
optical
fiber
into
loose
tube
made
of
high
modulus
material,
which
is
filled
with
waterproof
compound.
The
cable
core
is
wrapped
in
a
plastic-coated
steel
and
integrated
with
the
steel
strand
into
an
8-figure
polyethylene
sheath.
Figure-8
self-supporting
structure
provide
high
tensile
strength
and
enables
easy
and
cost
saving
aerial
installations.
