The AIRSUSTECH flange series features removable air springs. The base and cover are simply unscrewed, and new bellows can be inserted if necessary.
With zero friction and low wear, especially under harsh working conditions involving dirt, dust, particles, or mud, bellows cylinders are generally significantly superior to traditional pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders.
For example, in woodworking, various sizes of pellets are produced. In traditional cylinders, particles can accumulate on the piston rod and lead, leading to wear and leakage in the sealing area. Suspension Air Springs, however, require no sliding seals or joint connections; the stroke is achieved through a deformable bellows. Dirt particles remain external and do not contact the sealing components. Air bags experience low wear and low maintenance costs even under harsh working conditions. The system does not require the complex, precision guides that are sensitive to dust and dirt found in pneumatic cylinders.
