Hourglass Worm Gear Slew Drive Description
Hourglass VE7 slewing drive is also called vertical single axis slewing drive. It is a fully-enclosed, vertical drive that does not require other components for mounting. It can be easily installed on the plate by just four bolts. It is most commonly used in the center of single-axis solar trackers to hold the solar array sturdy in a high wind storm without breaking. It can be also installed at both side of the single axis solar tracking system. Our slewing drive uses hourglass worm technology will offer the greatest level of strength and power thereby increasing field life and decreasing downtime.
