SE single axis horizontal slewing drive is a critical component in both single axis solar tracking system and dual axis solar tracking system. Besides, it can also applied in CSP and CPV system, wind energy etc.
Single-Axis Trackers
A single-axis tracker orients PV modules along one axis of rotation, moving horizontally from east to west as the sun moves. Moving these PV modules requires that the reducer offer both load-holding and rotational torque – something only a highly specialized slewing drive can offer.
