RGV rail shuttle cart, also known as RGV rail automatic transfer cart, RGV rail collector trolley, or RGV rail automation truck, is a rail running vehicle used in factories. Being widely used in logistics systems, it has characteristics of fast speed, high reliability and low cost. According to different functions, RGV can be divided into assembling RGV system and transportation RGV system, mainly used for material transportation, workshop assembly, etc. According to the movement mode, it can be divided into circular track type and linear reciprocating type. The circular track type RGV system has high efficiency and can work with multiple cars at the same time. Generally, aluminum alloy tracks are used, and the cost is high. Linear reciprocating type generally includes one RGV system. RGV uses reciprocating motion, generally uses steel rails as the track, the cost is lower, and the efficiency is lower than that of the circular RGV system. RGV rail automatic transfer cart can run on straight or circular tracks with a maximum travel speed of 200m/min. It communicates with a host computer or WMS system, and combines RFID, bar code and other identification technologies to achieve automatic identification, access and other functions. RGV rail shuttles generally use batteries, rail-powered and sliding contact-line power, depending on the distance traveled by the vehicle. Bar code positioning or laser positioning, running on preset guide rails, is used to connect multiple logistics nodes, and has the characteristics of fast, flexible, simple configuration and easy maintenance.
