- Inorganic mineral insulated cable material is a solid combination of pure nickel/copper wire, inorganic mineral insulation, and metal sleeve, suitable for high temperature environments (200℃~1000℃)
- Can be used in corrosive environments, flames, metal solutions, and liquid immersion conditions as extension cable
- Armored thermocouple cable material is a solid composite for manufacturing armored thermocouples
- Characteristics: Small outer diameter, fast thermal response time, bendable, long service life, excellent airtightness, wide temperature measurement range, and high pressure resistance
- Applicable temperature range: -200°C to 1300°C (optional)
- Suitable for various occasions with accuracy grades of 0.4%t and 0.75%t
- Available in K, N, E, J, T, S, R, B types, can be used in pairs or duplicate
- Outer sheath diameter ranges from Φ0.5 to Φ12.7 with multiple outer sheath material options
What is a Thermocouple?
A thermocouple is a transducer that converts thermal energy into electrical energy by joining wires of dissimilar metals to create a junction. Temperature changes at this junction generate a measurable voltage used to determine temperature.
Operating on the Seebeck Effect principle, thermocouples generate voltage proportional to temperature changes and the properties of the metals used.
Composed of two insulated wires from different metals connected to a measuring device, thermocouples serve as safety and monitoring tools for various processes and equipment.
