The sidewall conveyor belt, also known as the large-inclination corrugated sidewall conveyor belt, was initially developed by a British company and subsequently gained widespread popularization in the industry.
1. Basic concepts
The
large-inclination
corrugated
sidewall
belt
consists
of
three
core
components:
the
base
belt,
the
sidewalls,
and
the
diaphragms.
The
sidewalls
serve
to
prevent
materials
from
sliding
and
falling
off.
To
facilitate
belt
tracking
around
the
drums,
the
sidewalls
are
engineered
with
a
corrugated
structure.
The
transverse
partitions
are
designed
to
support
conveyed
materials,
and
the
T-type
and
TC-type
structures
are
adopted
to
enable
large-inclination
conveying.
The
sidewalls
and
diaphragms
are
bonded
to
the
base
belt
via
secondary
vulcanization,
ensuring
exceptional
connection
strength.
