Feature:
Three-phase autotransformer is a kind of autotransformer, it can have the same connection group as the three-phase transformer, but there is electrical connection between the different coils. Mainly used in high-power transmission and transformation occasions.
Autotransformer is a single-turn transformer. The primary and secondary sides share a winding winding, and its transformation ratio is fixed. Compared with the general transformer of the same capacity, it has the advantages of simple structure, material saving, and small size. It is especially economical when the transformation ratio is close to 1. Therefore, it is used more in high-power transmission transformers with similar voltages. In addition, it is widely used in step-down starter boxes for asynchronous motors above 10kW.
