Width 2.0m Solar Panels ASTM F2919 Standard Solar Panels Galvanised Welded Mesh
Galvanised Welded Mesh Introduction:
All our wire mesh panels are hot-dipped galvanised, which is where the steel is coated with a protective coating to help the steel resist corrosion and rust.
Our Standard range of wire mesh panels are hot-dipped galvanised before welding, meaning that each individual wire is galvanised and then welded together to form the panel. This is a more economical process; however, it does carry a small risk that the welding process may remove a small amount of the galvanised coating.
Our Premium wire mesh panels are galvanised after welding, meaning that there is 100% coverage and no chance of any part of the panel not having the protective coating.
GAW (Galvanized After Welding) Welded Mesh
In this process, the mesh is hot-dipped galvanized after the wire is welded, coating all the weld intersections. GAW welded wire mesh performs well in damp environments and is used in applications such as ventilation screens, animal enclosures, and light duty industrial applications.
GBW (Galvanized Before Welding) Welded Mesh
In this process, the wire is coated prior to welding, leaving the welds uncoated. While GBW provides some protection against damp conditions, it is more prone to rust than GAW mesh. It is primarily used for indoor applications such as security screens and guards for machinery.
Welded Wire Mesh
Qijie Company is the leading industrial welded wire mesh supplier and manufacturer offering a full line of welded wire mesh products for a wide range of applications. Welded wire mesh is generally constructed in rolls or flat panels depending on the wire and opening size. Qijie’s welded wire mesh varieties include square and rectangular openings. Custom wire openings are available upon request. The intersections of the wire mesh are typically resistance-welded according to the alloy requirement. Weld set down (thickness of the welded intersection) and weld strength are determined by weld time, weld pressure, and weld temperature.
