Hy-Rib is a high-ribbed, sacrificial formwork solution engineered for superior performance in large-scale concrete construction. Made from galvanised expanded metal mesh, Hy-Rib ensures durability and structural reliability while simplifying the construction process. Its unique ribbed design promotes excellent aggregate interlock, delivering enhanced joint strength and long-lasting concrete durability.
Unlike traditional column and beam which takes 18 to 24 hours to install, our formwork only takes 3-4 hours. This significantly reduces construction time. Workers can be quickly trained on the technology, regardless of qualification level. The system is less physically demanding than conventional formwork, helping address labor shortage challenges.
The panel consists of two filtering grids made of rib lath reinforced by vertical stiffeners. The grids are connected by articulated rebar loops that fold for cost-effective transport.
