Features | Excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of acidic & alkaline environments | Application | Marine engineering, Chemical processing |
Wire Diameter | 0.02mm to 5mm |
Compared with 316L, 904L stainless steel wire has a lower carbon content of up to 0.02%, preventing intergranular corrosion during welding, and higher molybdenum has excellent resistance to chloride attack (pitting and crevice corrosion). In particular, it is added with copper to provide useful corrosion resistance to all concentrations of sulfuric acid.
