Description:
TZM alloy (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum) is a solid solution hardened and particle strengthened molybdenum based alloy. The formation of a molybdenum-titanium solid solution and the fine dispersion of titanium carbides are responsible for the alloy's excellent strength properties at temperatures up to 1400°C. TZM (titanium zirconium molybdenum) alloys have a recrystallization temperature approximately 250°C higher than molybdenum alloys, resulting in better weldability.
