Characteristics:

C15000 is an important and unique copper alloy with high electrical conductivity, hardness and ductility, moderate strength and excellent high temperature softening properties. The addition of 0.15% zirconium to copper yields a heat-treatable copper alloy that can be treated with solution and subsequently aged to produce these desirable properties. The bar is supplied by the mill and is completely aged and stretched so that the manufacturer does not need further heat treatment.
