Product Overview
Zinc oxide varistors are polycrystalline semiconductor ceramic elements made primarily from zinc oxide with various metal oxide additives. These voltage-limiting protection devices connect in parallel with protected circuit elements, rapidly clamping transient overvoltages to safe levels within nanoseconds to prevent circuit damage from lightning strikes, electrostatic discharge, or operational transients.
