Product Description
The GSI127 galvanic separation unit is engineered for precision measurement systems. It enables long-distance AC signal transmission via current and functions as a safety barrier when voltage signals are applied. The unit can also power sensors and electronic devices with a maximum output capacity of 21 mA.
This device significantly reduces frame voltage by minimizing ground noise interference in measurement applications. Its integrated power supply features a floating output design, eliminating the need for specialized low-noise power sources. The unit is compatible with standard 24V DC power supplies. Hazardous area versions carry Zone 2 certification and can support sensors in Zone 0, often removing the requirement for additional safety barriers.
The GSI127 includes removable terminal connectors for simplified wiring and supports standard DIN rail mounting. Built-in self-checking diagnostics provide remote monitoring of the entire measurement system, ensuring reliable performance for safety-critical applications.
