SSIC Square Beam
Our pressureless sintered silicon carbide (SSiC) square beams are manufactured through extrusion and sintered at high temperatures (2100°-2200°C) in vacuum furnaces. Available in lengths up to 4200 mm with customizable internal hole profiles to meet specific application requirements.
Key Features
High-Temperature Strength
Enhanced flexural strength at elevated temperatures while maintaining structural integrity under extreme heat conditions
Oxidation Resistance
Forms protective SiO₂ film at high temperatures, significantly slowing oxidation processes
Thermal Management
Superior thermal conductivity reduces thermal shock impact and improves heat distribution
Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to strong acids and alkalis while maintaining excellent load-bearing capacity
Application Fields
- Lithium and sodium battery materials
- Electronic ceramics
- Advanced ceramics
- High-temperature sintering and heat treatment processes
Application Scenarios
SSiC square beams serve as primary load-bearing support structures in industrial kilns including tunnel kilns and shuttle kilns.
