► Brief Description
During defibrillation, the airbag between the skin and the electrode pad can cause burns on the patient's skin. To avoid airbags, make sure that the electrode pad adheres completely to the skin.
Do not press adult/child mode into adult mode during defibrillation when using pediatric pads for children. Otherwise, the electrode pads may be damaged and cause analysis delays.
Do not use dry electrode pads.
When using a delivery checker to input ECG to the defibrillator, the ECG polarity depends on the delivery checker model and connection of the pads/paddles. For details on a delivery checker,refer to the manual of the delivery checker.
Discharges the energy in the manual defibrillation and AED modes if disposal pads or internal paddles are connected.
In manual defibrillation or AED mode, the contact impedance of the disposable pads is too high.Shave hair on the skin where pads are placed, then firmly attach the disposable pads to the patient chest.
